If you ARE booked onto this cruise then great! Please read below and keep in mind that both Pixie Dusting and Fish Extender Gift Exchanging are far more about giving than they are about receiving. Never give with the expectation that you will receive something reciprocal.

Pixie Dust (Explanation)

Pixie Dust is the term used by Disney Fans for giving gifts to each other. A couple of examples of Pixie Dusting might be… giving a cast member on board the Disney Fantasy a souvenir from the UK so they can remember their time here, or giving a fellow guest a home made Disney friendship bracelet.

Pixie Dusting can be done by anyone at any time and requires no co-ordination to orchestrate, feel free to Pixie Dust as much or as little as you want to while onboard our cruise!

Fish Extender Gift Exchange (Explanation)

The Fish Extender Gift Exchange is a co-ordinated process that can add a real sense of community and fun to a Disney Cruise vacation.

How it works is guests are matched up with each other to exchange gifts. These gifts are left outside of the recipient’s cabin in some form of hanging storage / pocket organiser.

That way, when the recipient returns to their cabin they will be pleasantly surprised with the gift that is waiting for them.

Practical Fish Extender Gift Exchange Example:

Person A and Person B are in Cabin 1.

Person C and Person D are in Cabin 2.

Person E is in Cabin 3.

Person F, Person G and Person H are in Cabin 4.

All eight people have signed up for the gift exchange and they have been allocated into a group together.

The gift exchange works by Person A and Person B buying, making or crafting gifts for Person’s C, D, E, F, G and H.

As Person A and Person B are staying in the same cabin, the expectation is that they do not have to provide a gift from Person A and Person B to all of the other guests, a single gift from their cabin to each of the other guests is sufficient.

To run through the example again from Cabin 4’s perspective. Person F, Person G and Person H are expected to provide a single gift for Person’s A, B, C, D and E, which is to be left outside of their respective cabins in their storage organiser.

Fish Extender Application Deadlines:

Application Window 1: 18:00, March 31st 2025.

Application Window 2: 18:00, July 31st 2025.

Application Window 3: 18:00. August 18th 2025.

Groups will be allocated as quickly as possible after each application window closes to ensure that guests have as much time as possible to sort gifts for the guests they have been grouped with.

Fish Extender Application Process:

In order to take part in the Fish Extender Gift Exchange, each individual guest must complete the form below. If you complete the form only once for your stateroom, your stateroom will be registered as if there is only one guest in your stateroom.

There is no cost to take part in the Fish Extender Gift Exchange, however once you have signed up there is an expectation on you that you will exchange gifts with the other guests that you are matched up with, failure to do so will result in that other guest not receiving a gift from the Fish Extender Gift Exchange.

The example information in the form is provided to help give you an idea of what to write. If you would prefer to answer the questions in a vague way that is fine, for example for Age you could write ‘Adult’ or ‘Child’ if you wished.

Please give as much or as little information as you feel comfortable in the data entry form, the more information you give, the better tailored gifts from your fellow guests might be to your tastes.
